Black Wolves Saga: Bloody Nightmare ~Auger Route pt.2

So the king of Weblin is very sick and is probably going to die soon. Of course, his sons: Mejojo and Auger, are trying to take care of them, but I suspect they’re secretly glad he’s dying because then the twins will have all the power…More on that later.

Mejojo fell asleep sometime after and started having a dream of his past. He dreamed of when he was a little boy. One day, he got a really high fever and was teetering on death. Auger tried to get help from the nurses/doctors, but their requests would always get rejected by another of the king’s wives (Rayleigh). She said that Julian, her son, was also very ill and in higher priority of care. This is actually a lie; Julian is in fact not ill at all.

Black Wolves Saga: Bloody Nightmare ~Auger Route pt.1

*Read this post before reading the other character routes, unless you already know the main story*
I usually pick one character that I choose to go for (simply because there are usually only a couple characters that interest me). This time, I was pleasantly surprised with the range of characters. I’m probably gonna play all the character good end routes, just to see each character individually. Since the story doesn’t involve some of the other characters until later, I decided to write up an introduction to all the other stories, since they all stem from the same beginning. I’ll put this in Auger’s route, since I’m doing him first.

Note: I will write a summary for the entire plot/story in Auger’s route. If I have written a character route, please refer to this first, because I will NOT repeat the main storyline in each route, exceptions of some references to events.

Story: there are a humans and half-human half-animals that have the ability to shape-shift into said animal. Fiona (main character) is a human; there are also cats and wolves. They used to live peacefully in their kingdom of Weblin, but then the wolves revolted against the cats and started a rebellion. Along with that, there was an outbreak of a plague called zodiba/mad wolf disease. The cats believed that the wolves carried the disease, so they were ordered to exterminate all wolves.

[18+] Chou no Doku Hana no Kusari: Fujita’s Route

Man, I originally wanted to skip through Fujita’s route to get to Majima’s (you have to play all routes, including the normal route to finally unlock Majima), but for -some reason- I felt like I should play Fujita’s route. Maybe it was his cute, surprised reactions when the heroine would ask him to hang out with her… xD Yeah, that’s probably it. Yujita looks like some 38 year old pale guy, but his reactions are just too cute! :3

He’s the butler of the household. He’s usually emotionless, and pretty much used to being alone. It’s just hilarious how “new” he is to, like, everything (relationship-wise) xD. Once he comes out of his bubble, things get…randy. 😉

[18+] Chou no Doku Hana no Kusari ~ Shiba Route

Uhh… O.O So you know how I said that I thought Chou no Doku Hana no Kusari would be a great game? Well, I kinda take that back now. I mean, it wasn’t the game or the story that threw me off; it was the character route of Shiba. I’m pretty sure that *these* types of routes are extremely prevalent in R-18 otome games, but I just didn’t know it would be so…crude. I’m used to, like, lovey-dovey tsundere routes for all ages, where there’s nothing but kiss cgs. So this was a big shocker to my innocent eyes lol.

Currently Playing~

I’m currently playing Takuen Tokkyuu Hotokenser and Chou no Doku Hana no Kasari. The latter is an 18+ game, so I’m not quite sure what to expect. I’ve played a couple eroge games before– Saya no Uta being the first eroge game I’ve ever played. It was horror though, so I’m not sure what to expect from a more romance-based otome game. Actually, I’m pretty sure I know what to expect, but it doesn’t help my innocent eyes.

I also played Swan Song (which I guess is eroge too), but I never finished it. I don’t really know why I didn’t finish it. Both were translated into English, which makes it a LOT easier for me! I’m 2393871197 times more fluent in English than in Japanese!

Which reminds me– I want the new game: Sweet Fuse: At Your Side so much! There are so many great PSP otome games that are Japanese. I’m so glad that Aksys decided to translate that game to bring it to Western audiences! Just by looking at the pictures, it reminds me of Ace Attorney and 999 in one delicious, otome game. I’ll definitely be buying it to support the game market! I don’t usually buy games that just come out (mostly because the prices are inflated), but I’ll be buying this game soon. Unfortunately, I have to get through other games first. >>Otome games are like children; you can’t treat one better than the other. Unless it sucks. Then you can go ditch one game for another.

I really do think Takuen and Chou no Doku are great games (at least from what I can see, with reviews and CGs), so I’ll be playing those before anything else. I’ll be playing Sweet Fuse in the days to come. :3EDIT: Chou no Doku would be infinitely better without that annoying Shiba guy =_=

Otome Game: Bloody Call Summary Pt. 1

READ ME:
So I picked up the otome game Bloody Call a while ago. This will be a somewhat complete summary for the game (at least for plots and scenes), BUT– I don’t have all the character routes which would ultimately affect the overall gameplay later on in the game (mainly because I only played like 2 routes all the way). Unfortunately, I can’t play the game again to get the other routes. I ONLY HAVE CAIN AND JIN’S ROUTE and part of Reimei’s (since you need to do the beginning of Reimei’s to get to Jin’s). I also did part of Shiro’s, but I got bored and quit 1/3 through lolz.

The story begins with a prologue with two people talking to a boss of a gang called “Fly Call”. He’s dying so his last wishes are to make sure his wife and daughter are okay. Our heroine, Futuba, lives in this dangerous city/town where there are drug addicts/rapists/murderers/thieves/impoverished people pretty much everywhere. The city has some humans and hankis (hanki=half person—they were tattooed/embedded with these weapons that they can activate to kick some asses), and they used to co-exist peacefully with the humans, but I guess hankis got tired of cooperating with the inferior humans. And I guess the humans regarded the hankis as monsters.
